Note:This is Identical to the 11185 Used on the 2006 Chevrolet Impala and Monte Carlo, Except This Unit Uses a 6-Groove Decoupler Pulley. This Vehicle Has the DoD Engine - Displacement on Demand. They May Have Changed the DoD Name to Active Fuel Management. Regardless of the Name, the Engine Requires a Decoupler Pulley Because When the Engine Cuts Out 3 Cyclinders for Fuel Economy, Things Happen With the Belt Drive and That is the Reason for the Decoupler on This Engine. Without the IDP, This Engine Would Never Have Passed the NVH Testing at GM (A Note From the Manufacturer).
