Note:There has been much talk of the high failure rate of late model GL1500 Alternators. The problem seems to be a weak "crimp" in the Rotor windings. Honda part #31110-MT2-005 has been superseded to 31110-MT2-015, according to the dealer network. See 204-190E for 90 Amp version. | Alternator - Hitachi IR/IF, 90 Amp/12 Volt upgrade version.
