Note:This Bosch Alternator Was Seen on the 2003 Chevrolet Malibu With the 3.1L Engine and the 2003 Olds Alero and Pontiac Grand Am With the 3.4L Engine. According to Delco This Unit is Used on 2nd Production Cars in 2003 and Has an "Attachment Standoff on the Rear Cover for Retention of the Fuel Jumper Harness Connector". In Simple Terms There is a Molded Plastic Piece on the Rear Cover That Allows the Harness to Be Attached to the Alternator. If This is Not a Concern, the 13770 and 13989 Will Interchange. If the Rear Cover From the 13989 is Used on All 13770 and 13989 Units, Then They Would Match Exactly.
