Note:Superseded by 103-340C. This is a Mitsubishi Gear Reduction Starter for Ford Diesel Trucks. This is Similar to the 17578, Except the Distance From the Mounting Plane of the Front Housing to the Outer Edge of the Drive Pirion at Rest is 14mm Longer (47mm vs. 33mm on the 17578). Do Not Interchange the Two. The 17037 Will Interchange With the 17577, and the 17577 is Sold as the Replacement Unit for the 17037 By Mitsubishi.
