Note:The 19756N-OE may be used as a substitute for 16940N, but not the reverse. The difference between WAI shelf stock 16940N and 19756N-OE is the solenoid clocking 90 degree different. 19756N-OE w/ S term straight up, 16940N with right angle S term. OE versions of 16940 have a larger body and longer OAL. Superseded by 10T version 103-416A. Per Mitsubishi they are 2-way interchangeable but the 8T version might not fit to all 10T application as the the field case O.D. is 81.6 mm while the 10T is 70.0 mm 103-416A (they are 2-way interchangeable) | New 10T Mitsubishi starter to replace obsolete PIC 103-416 (8T).
