Otherwise They Appear to Be the Same Unit. | This is a Ford 6G Alternator (110A) For the 2001-04 Ford Escape and Mazda Tribute With the 3.0L Engine. This Unit Looks Just Like the 7796, Except This Uses a 6-Groove Pulley, and the Regulator (XS7U-10C359-BA) Has "Load Response Control" (The 7796 Does Not). The Only Real Difference Between the 8254 and the 8259 is that the 8254 Has a Threaded Extension on the Thru Bolt at the 1:00 Position, and the B+ Insulators are Different. Otherwise They Appear to Be the Same Unit.
