Note:The Regulator is #XW4U-10C359-AB; the Plug is "FR-SIG-A". According to Ford, the Original 8268 Units Installed on the Car Came With the Battery Extension on the Back. However, Ford Determined This Was Not Needed so 8268 Service Alternators Were Supplied Without This Extension (We Call This the 8521). The Units are Identical Otherwise. In 6/2009 Lester Chose to Re-Name This Version of the 8268 as 8521 (See 250-423C; Same Unit in a Later OE#).
