The Change Was Made to Improve the Rate of Charge at Idle. Hyundai is Showing the Same Regulator in Both Units. Hyundai Dealers are Replacing the 13887 With the 11016, as They laim it is a Valid Supersession. | This is a Valeo Alternator Used on 2003 Hyundai XG350 With the 3.5L Engine. This Unit Mounts Just Like the Earlier Used 13887. This Unit Has No Exposed Stator, A Thin Black Plastic Rear Cover, and Looks More LIke a Bosch "124" Series Unit Than it Does a Mando-Type. Hyundai is Showing a Later Version (#37300-39405) of This Unit as a Replacement for This, Using a Smaller 55mm Diameter Pulley (vs. 62mm) In Order to Improve the Charge Rate at Idle.
