Note:This Hitachi Starter Fits the Nissan Altima w/MT. The Mitsubishi Version is Used on Altima w/AT. They Will Interchange, and the Hitachi Version (17477) Has Been Superseded to the 17478 in 11/2001. Care Must Be Taken as the Solenoids Have a Right Angled Adapter Between the Battery Post and the Cable. The Adapters for the Hitachi and Mitsubishi Versions of This Unit are Shaped Differently and Will Not Fit in Place of Each Other.
