The Bosch 17757 (1.7kw) is Similar, and This Valeo May Replace That Unit in Some Cases. In 5-2009 We Were Made Aware of the Fact That the Valeo Unit May Not Replace the Bosch in All Instances, Due to the Difference in Size. | This is a Bosch "108" Series Starter That is Used on 2003-On Mercedes Benz Models That Used the "115" Series 17757 Earlier. Both Versions Have the Same DE Frame and Drive - the Internal Motor Parts Vary Between the Two. | This is a Bosch PMGR Starter for Mercedes Benz (Various Models). The Mounting Ears on This Unit are at 11:00 and 5:00, With the Opening to the Bottom Left. This Unit Looks Very Similar to the 17227 Used on Earlier Mercedes Models. The Later Used 17852 Uses the Same DE Housing, Drive and Solenoid, But is Rated at 1.4kw, Rather Than 1.7kw.
