Note:This is a Denso Starter for the 2002-04 Acura RSX Type S With a 6-Speed Transmission. This is a Conventional PMGR Type Starter, While the 17816 Used on Other RSX Models is a Mitsuba Version With the Solenoid Not Visable on the Starter. The 17886 Used on the Acura RSX (2002-06) and the 17962 Used on the Honda Civic SI (2002-05) are Very Similar. They Both Appear to Use the Same DE Frame and Drive, the Field Cases are the Same Length, and the Solenoid Body Appears to Match in Both Units. The Differences are That the Solenoid Cap on the 17962 Has a Longer Battery Stud and Insulator and the Ignition Terminal Spades are on Opposite Sides of the Cap. Also the Mounting Bracket That Attaches to the CE Frame is Different Between the Two Units, Although the CE Frame Itself Appears to Match Between the Units.
