Note:Starter has an open spade type S terminal, for RAM Classic 5.7L Only and not for Hybrid/EZL/EZH/ERC 5.7L applications. According to OE dealer, M0T20972 and M0T23271 are not interchangeable due to the Heatshield. Therefore new Lester number 17948 has been assigned to M0T23271. This Unit May Replace the Earlier 17938 ONLY IF Fitted With a New Heatshield From the Dealer. The heat sheilds are not interchangeable between a 17938 and 17948
