Note:This Unit is an Exact Match for the 3267. The Possible Reason for This Versions May Be the Hex Chrome Free Manufacturing Process That Many Ford Starters Have Gone Through in Later Years. Ford Changes Their Part Number Despite the Only Change Being in the Process. | This is a Ford PMGR Starter, Which is the Same as the 3221, Except This Unit Uses a Solenoid With a 6mm Ignition Stud (LH), Rather Than a ?" Spade (LH). (Vintage Lester Books Had Used This Number for the Prestolite OE # MAX4019, Which Has No Other Information Available). | This is the Later Version of the 3267, Which Incorporates a 2mm Shorter Armature, a Different Planetary Gear Set-up, a Solenoid Boot in the Plunger Area, and a Bronze Bushing in the DE Housing. The DE Housing is Designed for the Solenoid Boot, and the Earlier DE Housing Will Not Allow for Use of This Boot. This Starter Will Interchange With Earlier Versions, as Well as the Later Version, Which Uses a Needle Bearing in the DE Housing. | This is a Later Version of the 3267, Using the Shorter Armature, Different Tracking Gear Assembly, a Solenoid Boot, and a Needle Bearing in the DE Housing. This Unit Will Interchange With Earlier 3267's.
