Note:Delco Claims the 9000977 Was Superseded to 9000976. | This is a Delco PMGR Starter for the 2001-On Saturn and Other GM Models Using the 2.2L "Ecotech" Engine. The Original Unit, OE #9000835 (Lester 6487) Is a Longer 1.7kw PG260M Version, Using an 11-Tooth Drive, Which Has Been Replaced by the Smaller (Shorter) PG260D Versions (OE #9000856 and #9000933 - 9-Tooth Drive - Lester 6493). The 6493 Can Replace the 6487; the 6487 Probably Can Replace the 6493, If Room Allows.
