Note:This is a Delco AD237 Series Alternator Using a 6-Groove Pulley. This Unit Has an "Enclosed" Stator, and Looks Somewhat Like the 8229-7 and 8234-5, Except in a Larger Case, and Using Different Internal Parts. The Plug is at 12:00. The 8244 is the Same Unit, Except Using a Regulator Designed for a Remote Battery Location in the Car. The 8284 is a Later Version of the Same Unit, With Minor BOM Changes. The 8284 and 8235 May Be Able to Be Used in Place of Each Other; This is Still Being Verified.
